THEODORE LESCHETIZKY STUDIO POSTCARD mailed/dated BERLIN 11/1922

Description

You are bidding on 3-1/2" x 5-1/4" addressed postcard, postmarked BERLIN, Nov. 4, 1922 of Theodore Leschetizky's (1830-1915) Vienna piano studio. Photographer Marie Mertens. At bottom of front under Leschetizky's name there is a note in English, "Rec'd card. Thanks. Mail me a letter. I will not soil by writing more." (unable to decipher signature)
Postcard addressed to a Leschetizky student, SOPHIE BEEBE. Sophie taught at U of Michigan, Ann Arbor and was a student of Alberto Jonas and Schnabel.
Since postcard was addressed to Sophie in 1911 I assume she was still studying with Leschetizky at the time of mailing.
Postcard in VF+ condition with no creases.
