    Description

    Very nice diminutive English Sterling Sauce Boat. The sauce boat possesses a gilt interior. Maker signed: Francis Crump 1741 Worcester, England.
    The sauce boat only bears Maker mark but tests as sterling. The sauce boat is in the Rococo Style. The handle bears a swans head. All hand engraved.
    Also contains pricking engraving which is subject of TO and FROM with date of 1806 ( a presentation gift ).
    Probably, was used for sherry to poor into turtle soup.
