Gravy Boat Shell Motif Feet Sterling Silver Mono S
American sterling silver gravy or sauce boat, having shaped oval form body with cut-work edge and 4 figural feet, featuring shell motifs. Hollow scroll handle is accented with an applied leaf decoration. On the side, there is an engraved period script monogram "S". Marked 813. Retailed by Bailey, Banks & Biddle Co.
This solid boat is 6 5/8" long, 2 5/8" tall and weighs 198.2 grams or 6.4 ozs Troy.
The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
