Antique Sterling Silver Vinaigrette~~Hand Hammered, Calling Card Size

Description

Antique sterling silver vinaigrette.
Case is hand hammered front and back
with a monogrammed cartouche on front.
This case vinaigrette was not worn,
rather slipped into a pocket or purse.
it is rectangular with a push button clasp.
Measures 2 1/8" x 3 1/2" long.
Weighs 57.8 grams.
Inside is a pierced reticulated piece to hold
the sponge.
Stamped along inner rim with manufacturer hallmark I cannot make out
and "Sterling".
Lovely piece.
