LEMAIRE F I PARIS Mother Of Pearl Binoculars.
This is a late 1800s vintage pair of LeMaire FI Paris mother of pearl opera glasses in very good to excellent condition. The mechanicals are in excellent working order and the lenses are free of scratches. The mother of pearl on both of the barrels is intact and in flawless condition. The brass frame has some very minor scuffing on the bottom, and is scratch free. The LeMaire FI Paris manufacturer hallmarks are confirmed on the frames of these opera glasses. On the underside of the middle frame is the LeMaire FI metal stamped logo "Bee" on the left side; and the model number "91” or “16” on the right side. Additionally, on the underside of the upper frame reads "MADE IN FRANCE". The opera glasses measure 3 5/8 inches wide, 1 1/2 inches deep, 2 1/8 inches high w/eyepieces retracted, and 2 3/4 inches high with eyepieces
