This vinaigrette is a larger purse shape with chased geometry and floral design. The grille features pierced vines. The box hinge and grille hinge both work fine. On the box hinge there appears to be have been a minor repair on one side. The box opens and closes properly. Some light dents. Light scratches on the surface. There is some polishing residue underneath the grille.
This vinaigrette came from a large collection of antique vinaigrettes and nutmeg graters I found in a local estate sale. The owner kindly presented prior receipts, from which I learnt that the collection was acquired from various jewelers and antique dealers in the last 25 years.
