    Here is a Rare Classic Pair of Early George the Second Sauce Boats Made in London in 1746 by the Noted Silversmith, Daniel Piers, of Spur Street, Leicester Fields 1746-49, in Fully Hallmarked Sterling Silver
    His Business was Continued after his Death in 1758 by his Widow, Mary Piers
    These Top Quality Sauce Boats Measure 7½ Inches Across the Pouring Spout to Handle Edge (18.5 cms), 3 ¼ Inches Across the Body (8 cms) and Stand 4½ Inches High (12 cms) – Each Sauce Boat holds approximately 8 fluid ounces.
    Each Sauce Boat is Marked with the Original “Scratch Weight” in Troy Ounces and Pennyweight
    Sauce Boat #1 has 12:14 – now 12.1 troy ozs / 376 grams
    Sauce Boat #2 has 12:13 – now 11.8 troy ozs / 368 grams
